When? That’s a question I’ve asked myself several times lately. Over the past few months I’ve been quietly doing what I love — plotting, brainstorming, and writing away. That’s not news though. I’m always doing that. What’s noteworthy is that I decided I was ready to up my game, to dive back into the crazy world of book publishing.
So before I could change my mind and back out of the insanity, a couple weeks ago I began to submit my latest project to literary agents. I’m happy to report that I’ve had a few requests for the full manuscript! It’s a young adult story set in the Amazon Rainforest, and in the same high-adventure style as my Jewel Intrigue series.
I’m nervous, but I’m also excited! It feels like possibility. Feels like I’m branching out to take that next step in my publishing journey. It. Feels. Good.
