How can it get more perfect? PHANTOM PEARL is a part of my Jewel Intrigue series AND it’s now a finalist in The Carla – Crown Jewel of Books 2018 contest! This feels like synchronicity to me. But make no mistake, the competition was tough. Making it to the TOP 3 of romantic suspense books is an accomplishment that makes me feel like I’ve climbed a mountain and conquered the world.
Once the shock wears off and I finally stop happy dancing all over the place, I intend to celebrate big. Not sure what that will be yet, but champagne will definitely be involved. =)
In the meantime, I’ve a month to wait as a bookseller makes the final 1-2-3 placement, but no matter. First, second, or third…to me…I’VE ALREADY WON!
