So I’ve been absent lately, but I have a good excuse. I signed a TWO book deal with Kensington’s Lyrical Press!
This is me…signing the contract. I was pretty stoked that day. Then the reality hit. I agreed to write TWO books. What was I thinking? Needless to say, I had to get real busy. Like, seriously busy. You see, I have this pesky day job that pays the bills. Which meant I had to write on lunch hours, when I got home after work, weekends, those nighttime hours when you are supposed to be sleeping. After several months of total insanity, I had the the first book done. I turned it in. Life was good. Then came the edits, with tight turnaround deadlines. Write, write, write!
All that is behind me now and life is getting back on track. Except…now I have to do it all over again!!
But that’s okay. By the time I’m finished I’ll have 3 books out in my…JEWEL INTRIGUE SERIES. And that’s nothing but cool.
